The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s (RRHA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Steven B. Nesmith announced to the Board of Commissioners the appointment of Tonise Webb as the Agency’s first Chief Compliance Officer. This newly created position within RRHA aligns with the Agency’s commitment to a culture of ethical standards and integrity. Ms. Webb currently serves as the Associate Lead Counsel and adds a greater focus on compliance in her new role as Chief Compliance Officer. She took on this role on September 18, 2023.
Ms. Webb’s responsibilities include oversight and management of enterprise-wide compliance for the Agency to include, but not limited to, all housing subsidy programs. She will assist in reviewing all local, state, and federal laws to determine potential impacts on Agency procedures. Additionally, she will review and investigate all programs and activities for any performance deficiencies, fraud, waste, and mismanagement.
