J & G Workforce Development, LLC in conjunction with The Community Builders and Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) are hosting a hiring event on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Armstrong Renaissance Community Center at 1665 N. 31st Street, Richmond VA 23223. More than 20 employers will be in attendance. There will also be free food and giveaways of gift cards, fuel cards and a large screen television.
“RRHA public housing and voucher residents looking for work, who are ready to make a fresh start, or find a better job, will find a wealth of exciting opportunities at this free hiring event,” said RRHA CEO Steven Nesmith.
Numerous local employers from a variety of industry sectors will be in attendance and are eager to hire for immediate openings in a wide range of fields. These employers are actively looking for Section 3 hires and specifically focused on public housing residents.
