A Regional Affordable Housing and Economic Development Corporation

RRHA’s CEO Steven B. Nesmith is a servant leader. His mission of repositioning RRHA as the leader in affordable housing, community, and economic development in the City of Richmond and the region involves bringing together various public/private partnerships with an emphasis on attracting unique private sector investment.

The introduction of the Richmond Development Corporation (RDC) is a vehicle to move the Authority closer to that goal. This growth and development entity will advance affordable housing and economic development solutions throughout the Richmond region. This includes the counties of Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover, and the tri-cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell to tackle the issues that impact the entire region.
