RRHA CELEBRATES EARTH DAY AT GILPIN COURT

Richmond, VA –The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) celebrates Earth Day with a Community Clean-up Initiative and other activities at Gilpin Court, RRHA’s largest family community. This clean-up and beautification effort, which takes place on Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 9 AM to 3 (Noon), is designed to unite the Gilpin Court community, city officials, and stakeholders in a collective effort to enhance the neighborhood’s environment.

“We are thrilled to host this Earth Day event at Gilpin Court as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable, thriving communities,” said RRHA CEO Steven Nesmith. “This event is a great opportunity for our residents and staff to engage with the community, promote environmental stewardship, and make a meaningful impact right here in Richmond.”
