The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s (RRHA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Steven B. Nesmith recently welcomed Kimberley Cole as Chief of Staff. Cole will serve as a key member of the CEO’s Senior Executive Team by supporting the CEO and the Chief Operations Officer on a wide range of strategic issues and providing leadership and operational oversight to the Agency.
“We are delighted to welcome Kimberley to the RRHA Team. She brings a high-level of experience in housing industry operations, government, private non-profit and small business operations. With more than 20 years of experience as a housing professional, she is a results-oriented leader, strategic thinker, resourceful problem solver and excellent communicator,” said RRHA CEO Steven Nesmith.
Cole’s expertise in the affordable housing industry encompasses strategic planning and execution, program management, policy analysis and research. She has served in executive leadership positions at Inlivian (aka the Charlotte Housing Authority) and the DC Housing Authority. In addition, as the Managing Principal of the LewisCole group, LLC, Cole has provided management and program support to several public housing agencies. Most recently, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Resource Solutions, a professional resource management consulting company in Washington DC.

Ms. Cole earned her Bachelor of Political Science from Hampton University and her Master of Public Management in Social Policy from the University of Maryland.
